Every top performance needs a top coach': Mourinho
Jose Mourinho just landed arguably the biggest role in football, but the new Manchester United boss looked like he was auditioning for something a little different in this picture with film director friend Guy Ritchie.
The Portuguese boss took to his newly opened Instagram account to share the snap of the two leading lights, both accustomed to dealing with big characters.
Mourinho sits facing the master of the British gangster flic in a dimly lit room, seemingly reciting lines as he holds a sheet of paper in his left hand and gesticulates passionately with his right. The 53-year-old captioned the image 'every top performance needs a top coach', perhaps suggesting the parallels between his and Ritchie's lines of work.
Mourinho seems to have formed a bond with the 'Snatch' and 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' mastermind and was pictured leaving the home of Madonna's ex-husband in April. And Special One's road from winning the Premier League with Chelsea a year ago to taking over at United the following May could easily be the script of a Hollywood hit.
Mourinho is certainly a box-office draw, highlighted by his brief but successful existence on Instagram which has seen him accumulate nearly 500,000 followers in five days.
