Governor Umar Ganduje Empowers Over 500 Women In Kano State. Photos

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has empowered 520 women with Taliya (local pasta/spaghetti) making machine & N5,000 each through his administration's empowerment programme titled "Ganduje Mass Empowerment Programme" . Another set 520 women were also empowered with Akara & Waina alongside N5,000 each.


Governor Umar Ganduje was represented by the Deputy Governor Professor Hafiz Abubakar at the empowerment programme which had people drawn from the 44 Local Government Areas in the state in attendance took place at the government house. The Deputy Governor who identified women as the most important component of any nation, presented a third set of 520 women with grinding machines.

In all, a total of 1, 560 women were empowered in yesterday's phase of Ganduje Mass Empowerment Programme (GMEP).
Deputy Governor Professor Hafiz Abubakar while distributing the items to the beneficiaries enjoined them to be productive in their use.
