'I think it's a bit boring': Kim Cattrall admits she is baffled by the Kardashians' fondness for naked selfies
She's no stranger herself to stripping off on-screen, having disrobed to play sex-mad Samantha in Sex And The City.
But when it comes to posing for naked selfies, actress Kim Cattrall admits she finds the process strange and 'boring'.
Speaking
on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, the English-born star, 60, was
asked by host Piers Morgan what she thought about the Kardashians.
She said: 'I don't really watch the Kardashians. But I don't think you can avoid them.'
When
Piers asked about the naked selfies, after Kardashian, 35, posed in the
buff twice in recent months on her Instagram, Cattrall said she didn't
see the point.
The former Mannequin star replied: 'I think it's a bit boring. It's a one-off situation.
'I don't know how you build a career on that. But they seem to have done that.'
While
Cattrall's naked scenes in SATC were integral to her character Samantha
Jones, Kardashian chose to strip off to show her post-baby body
following the birth of her son Saint.
When she shared it in March, she wrote: 'When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL.'
Meanwhile,
Cattrall also admitted she'd still be interested in making a cameo in
Coronation Street after previously having to turn one down.
She explained: 'They did offer me a part but I wasn't available. Maybe they'll ask me again?'
The
Canadian actress, who lives in New York, admitted she recently stopped
driving in the city due to the amount of road rage from other drivers.
She
has a home in the Hamptons, around 90 miles outside of Manhattan, but
now gets the Hampton Jitney bus - just like the SATC characters did in
Season 2 of the show.
She said: 'I've stopped driving because of the road rage in New York. You have to be quite stealth about it.
'I don't do it as much. I take the Hampton Jitney to my place.'
Kim
was on the show to promote the second series of her Canadian TV show
Sensitive Skin, about a middle-aged woman suffering a midlife crisis.
